Honestly, i want to spread nice words about all artists which work hard to release these nice songs. However, there are some songs that sound quite better than the others. Gulag Orkestar was a great record even if it's not a perfect one. The Flying Club Cup is the upcoming second album by Zach Condon, aka Beirut, and for me it's not anything much better than Gulag Orkestar. If you consider a relistening on tracks like Prenzlauerberg, Postcards from Italy and Scenic World, you'll see the results of a downfall from stunning multi-instrumentalist Zach Condon. I want you to remember the great songs on this new record, and they're "In The Mausoluem", "In The Mausoluem", "Cherbourg" and the title song, having you a trip between melancholic moments. Despite The Flying Club Cup's unsurprising and lazy air, Beirut fans will be happy once again.
Beirut - Cherbourg (MM Pick!)

Band of Horses - Cease to Begin
Wednesday, August 29, 2007
Melodic indie rockers Band of Horses returned with a new song, and it asks Is There a Ghost? I think the new record will be great, because if you liked the new song at your first listen, then it can't be that good. You should love the song by every new spin. I'm loving "Is There a Ghost", that broken voice is something you want to hear on every season. Everything All The Time was one of the favorite records in 2006. We'll wait and see the new Band Of Horses record that called Cease to Begin.

I know that i'm very picky when it comes to music, but it's really hard finding good new music. We're losing the art, or the art is not enough for people now. I dream myself in a place where all precious artists stay, take me to there, and i don't want to see this finish anymore.

Morrissey - The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get
"The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" was a single by Morrissey released in February 1994. It was taken from the then-unreleased Vauxhall and I album and was the first Morrissey single to be produced by Steve Lillywhite. Reaching number 8 in the UK Singles Chart, the single became Morrissey first top ten hit since "Interesting Drug" in 1989. It is also Morrissey's only charting single in the United States Billboard Hot 100.
