We started wearing purple, wearing purple on their previous record Gypsy Punks Underdog World Strike.. Now on Super Taranta!, we are all going to be drunk! Super Taranta! has long playing lentgh, and a lot of Gogol Bordello's same gypsy punk goes here and there. Alcohol which is the most alcoholic and moody song of the record is my favorite cut. Although singer/lyricist Eugene Hutz sometimes sings like a crow in the song, it sounds nice. There is another song named Suddenly...(I Miss Carpaty) which completely describes their lovely music, taking speedy rhythms of punk rock, and blends it with colourful character of their cultural sounds. Super Taranta! includes many styles punk, metal, rap, flamenco, roots reggae, and it doesn't come with something new, though.

Damned Damned Damned: 30th Anniversary Expanded Edition
Wednesday, June 06, 2007
Just finished listening to White Rabbits' Fort Nightly (2007), and honestly i don't like it. Tried Beastie Boys' The Mix Up (2007) in which The New York rabble-rousers return to rock roots, but again it's not what i want in fact. The Sarah Silverman Tv Show was funny, but it's not funny for me anymore (i'm out of topic again because of my excitement). For today i just only wanted to give you some time worthy music. So should i say Damned! Damned! Damned!? Yeah, the classic punk record for years, and this special 30th anniversary edition of Damned Damned Damned includes the album, and everything else that the band. The early demos, all the B-sides, noth John Peel Sessions. Feel the Pain, So Meshed Up, New Rose, I Feel Alright are my constant favorite on this young hot loud and stiff mammoth punk record. It saves the day and If you ask me, they're all good, pretty fu-c-k-ing good!
The Damned - New Rose
The product of four hours intensive care, this is so hot it's a wonder the vinyl doesn't melt. A great riff that lodges in your brain and enough energy to substitute for Battersea power station.

Keane - Little Broken Words
Tuesday, June 05, 2007
Rating: 8.5/10
Review:
Oh what a great voice, what a great recording! I thougth it was truly better than their two solo records at first listen. And maybe I'm right or Chaplin' voice gets touchy-feely with moody light music on this b-side collection. There are more than three stunning songs, Fly To Me, The Way You Want It, Emily, To The End Of The Earth, The Way You Want It and many more. Keane should make emotional songs, and with this one they're on right direction after "Under The Iron Sea" which Chaplin's voice exceedingly layered with upbeat pianos, overdosed melodies. This was quite wrong way that he has a pure voice to effect the emotional side of the audience. And also cover songs are chosen delicately to support Little Broken Words' bitter melodies. Keane's voice of such quality singing a pop repertory with some understanding on popular hits such as "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine,"(Walker Brothers), "What A Wonderful World," (Louis Armstrong), morever a torch of Rufus Wainwright "Dinner At Eight"
On "Little Broken Words", every song sounds good-natured, passionate and mellow.
MM picks: Fly To Me, Emily, To The End Of The Earth, Rubbernecking

New Singles
1. Rihanna feat Jay-Z – Umbrella
It's been a quite weird list. At the top of it, there is an R&B song, and the rest of them are indie or rock music. For Rihanna's Umbrella, it sounds completely great while many various beats are playing on the background, even her voice, a definitely great single.
2. Dizzee Rascal - Sirens
I'm not big fan of rap music, but i like this song.
3.Velvet Revolver – Melody & Tyranny (EP)
Velvet Revolver - Psycho Killer
Listen boringly well-known Talking Heads' Psycho Killer from The Velvet Revolver. This is a quite loud version for sure, oh my god, don't play guitar like whatever you want!

Cake - B-Sides and Rarities
Sunday, June 03, 2007
New Cake B-Sides and Rarities edition features special "Scratch and Sniff" album art, plus an exclusive "War Pigs" live bonus track with special guest Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips, and also a torch of Frank Sinatra "Strangers In The Night". My favorite cut is a romantic love-drunk song "It's Coming Down". You can buy "B-Sides and Rarities" CD from The Cake Music. The band will also release a live album named as "Live at the Crystal Palace" this autumn.
